Copper/Brown hair with no bangs

Black hair with side bangs...still deciding if I'm keeping the bangs

Decided that copper coloured hair was too much of a hassle...aka frying it each time I bleached it and having to put all sorts of moisturizers and product into my hair just to keep it soft. I first opted for straight across bangs but they're on a different level of giving me a hassle meaning i had to give my bangs a hair cut every two days. But here is my new hair taken last night before going to a girlfriend's birthday. Wearing a giraffe print Wilfred dress that you can barely see.

I love these shoes. They are badass and pretty awesome. I remember seeing this design years ago then copied by Jeffrey Campbell and finally trickled down into my closet. I got them at Aldo this past summer and love to pair them with leatherette leggings, tights and lots of black. Big bonus : theyre super easy to walk in because of the hidden platform and I just love how high they are ! Will upload more shoe purchases when I can take more pictures...(recently moved into a new place and still need to get some organizational furniture !)

until then heres a cute necklace ... it sort of looks like an owl ? Cheap find from Aldo a couple months back with my little sister . Looks great on black and with simpler pieces because its so costume-y and gaudy haha.

Will be back with more pictures as my trusty Nikon hasnt failed me completely after I dropped him on the cement and can still take beautiful pictures...I've only lost the viewscreen...gives it an old-school touch which isnt so bad sometimes and saves the battery !

The past year has been a turbulent one to say the least. Especially the last four months... I am here because the art of clothes and fashion...and this blog itself got be out of a very bad rut while I was in high school. As I enter school again this Winter, for fashion merchandising, I will use this blog as a journal for my inspirations, my desires and wants and hopefully bring out something I am looking for in life when I was last in school. Finally, this blog is named I love your mom. Yes it is quite silly and I was youngER when I made it plus hey I thought it was funny.....now I don't know how to feel about it and will be changing the blog name to NENUCA... But in the meantime I dedicate this blog now to my late mother and her love for all the things I loved and how she supported me in every way and made me the woman I am today. Anyways... I'm glad to be back and I will start outfit posts very soon and get the blog revamped for real this time.

Hey guys I'm SO SO SO SO SO sorry about neglecting the blog. Life has been super hectic and I'm in the middle of exams right now...sorta well I'm studying for them and I have no time for anything :( I'm just a little hermit spending all my days studying in my room and complaining about life. This means : no good outfits (I've been wearing sweats and uggs...noice), no time to post nice things and no time to comment on all your great blogs! I'll be back next week! I promise. I'll be done with exams on the 27th then I'm free the rest of the week! YAY! That depends if I take the history provincial because then I'll have no school the whole week hehe but I should probably take it .... lol.

Yay, winter break! These are pictures from our Christmas Dinner/Secret Santa gift exchange. And guess what I got!...*drumroll* THE MK&A OLSEN BOOK. I was so happy, people were like wtf why so happy. But I really wanted this book and I'd been asking everyone to get it for me so I was super glad my secret santa got it for me. I got my person a stussy shirt and I was glad he really liked it as well. So it was a good Christmas dinner with friends :)

Wore this to school, yay last day! It's been FREEEEEZING here. I bought a pair of Uggs just because of the cold and because they feel like heaven on your feet! Sorry for the bad pics, I'm super tired from Christmas shopping and school and ah busy busy! Tomorrow I'm getting my nails done and then going to a Christmas party where we're having secret santa hehe. So def more outfit pics soon cause no school! :)

Weird story : So we had our last day of school before holidays and we got sent home early. Why? Cause it's so freakin cold that the pipes froze and if there was a fire the sprinklers wouldn't work or something along those lines :S.

Hey guys, sorry for being such a bad blogger! I'll get to your comments soon. School has been busy! I went shopping and got a bunch of great stuff for even better prices which I'll try to make a post of tomorrow if I have more time.

I'm wearing topshop jeans from a few years ago, checkered vans, grey wilfred tank and a military jacket from Joe (superstore).

So guess how much I got that military jacket for? TWELVE DOLLARS! There was no tax at superstore and it was already really marked down so I'm happy :). I also got a school boy blazer that will make it's debut on the blog very soon. Plus another sweater I got from thrifting :)
Anyways I'm making a wislist for my family and friends for Christmas and perhaps I'll put it here so I can show you nice things I like HAHA. The picture above is a caramel apple from rocky mountain chocolate and omg it's literally heaven on a stick. That apple was more expensive than my red jacket but it's so delicious <3 and totally worth the $12 + haha.

Is is gross that I can almost feel the softness and velvety feel of super soft leather? I need to get more schedules for work! Haha. Drool drool, I want you MBMJ Totally Turnlock Quinn Bag. I know it's me since all I wear is black and I've bought lots of cheaper bags but I've still stuck to my trusty, shiny "snake skin" leather dooney and bourke bag, my first somewhat designer bag...so I know I'll keep using this one. Plus it's way bigger and I could fit my whole life into that bad boy!

I'm planning to ask for a good leather purse for my graduation present. Some kids ask for cars, computers, money to party...I'm probably going to ask for a lovely leather handbag...preferably Marc Jacobs?

The leather looks exquisite but the straps look short and I like to throw it over my shoulder especially since I'm probably going to jampack it since I will use these bags when I go to college/university in the fall!! yay!

This looks a bit on the small side but it's got lovely details, I'm only iffy on it since I might get sick of the little features. I really just need to get a sack to make me happy haha. I like her other bags too, they're all very reasonably priced compared to other bags (Sienna Miller's line is selling a bag for 800$, I believe as long as you don't really have a name for yourself in fashion...YOU ARENT ALLOWED TO SELL BAGS FOR EIGHT HUNDRED FRIGGIN DOLLARS &end rant.)

I don't have too much to say about this one besides that it's gorgeous but I think I like the first one better...yeah, I do like the first one better but I don't really think I'm going to ask for the last one 1) too expensive 2)I'm not flipping over backwards for it like the first two 3) I feel like I'll get sick of it easily.

Now for some fun stuff....lol...things I look for in a bag :

SIZE - I like my bags HUGE. I put everything in there, phone, pencil case, make up bag, agenda, lunch, water bottle, reading books, the occasional school book....the kitchen sink...
Longer Strap - I hate carrying a hand bag. I feel like it's too low and since I'm short and I love big bags I'm scared the bag will scrape against the floor as I walk. I need to carry it on my shoulder since I put tons of stuff in it...therefore I need my shoulders to carry all the weight.
Colour - This one's simple... BLACK
Material - Leather, Leather, Leather!
Minimal details and accents, if I don't want to get sick of the bag it needs to be ultra plain and simple :P

I really, really like the last bag but I don't want to ask my parents for such an expensive gift because I'd feel guilty and because I'm a jerky little only-child who will probably want more than one gift for grad haha, I shouldn't really be proud of that.

Anyways thank for reading this ... if you did haha. Long post, but I just really want to make sure I don't waste $300+ on a bag I'm not completely in love with. I don't mind saving up for something expensive I just have to make sure I don't make the wrong choice. Haha, this sounds like a big life-changing moment, but it almost is since my life is pretty much in my hand bag :)

So I've been seeing random pictures of her on some blogs and thought she was gorgeous and very well dressed...and it turns out her name is Miroslava Duma and she works at Russian....something magazine haha I'm such a bad researcher...This is what I do instead of doing my history homework and studying for a quiz...that I missed. Just looking at how great she dresses seriously just pushes me to work in fashion even more...ah. So many things to think about

There's my little attempt (in the corner HAHAH) at trying to be artsy. Oh goodness. I wore this to school and to take a tour at Blanche Macdonald. It's a lovely school...I'm really thinking about it...I also went shopping...again today. Woops. You can't blame me though, it's 50% off everything at Urban Behaviour. FIFTY PERCENT. It's music to a girl's ears. Oh yes id anyone has noticed I got a hair cut...just today actually. It looks horrid at the moment since it wasn't straightened and it looks greasy ew, but the bangs are no longer looking like they were cut by a five year old or in my case...cut by me (since they were! hahaha). I'm also thinking of dying it a chocolate brown...hmm!

So I'm researching schools and I finally decided to "let loose" and do the "un-asian" thing and major in Fashion-something, I'm really looking in Fashion Merchandising or being a Fashion Buyer. I'm currently looking at Blanche Macdonald and John Casablancas here in Vancouver. I got a call today from Blanche Macdonald and I'm going to be visiting the campus this Friday. I'm soooo freakin' excited.

Who else is going to school and taking fashion based courses? How is it? Fun?

I'm also planning to go to FIDM or Parsons to further my education in the future. If you guys have any advice or tips for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I know the fashion industry is competitive and doesn't have a whole lot of jobs but I know that I'm passionate enough about it that I'll be happy with any job in the fashion world.

ALSO : What should I wear ? I need to dress to impress! Haha, I'll probably wear my typical "uniform" of some sort of dress or skirt with tights and boots/heels with my zara coat.

So I'm still a bit busy studying for an upcoming History test on Wednesday which I have been too busy (aka shopping too much) to study...woooops! So I'll get more outfits and show you all my new purchases (I've bought tons this weekend...uh oh! haha). I'm excited! hehe.

Anyways these are two of my little purchases. This is a bad picture but they're these adorable sequined hair ties that I bought at H&M from the Kid's section! I love shopping in the most unexpected places, like I found a great leather bracelet and a gorgeous chain bracelet in the men's section at H&M. Love that store! I think I'm goign to go back and buy one more colour of each since I might feel like pigtails one day :P

So I went to the mall yesterday, saw some cute stuff but not worth the money. I did buy some cute earrings though, for a dollar!These earrings are from Off The Wall. They were on sale, from 8.50 to 99cents hehe. I love deals. They look really cute and dainty on but I would've liked them more if they were studs. Maybe I can find something at the craft store and make them studded earrings.Perhaps! Going out for my friend's birthday dinner and perhaps watch a movie or go downtown to just hang out :). OH. I saw TONS of shoes I wanted from Payless. I saw these chloe knock-offs but they were green. I would've bought them but they were like 40 bucks and I only have $50 to my name at the moment... HAHA.

I'm thinking of getting those but they were like $75 canadian and theyre only $40 american...WTF. Their dollar isnt THAT much higher...seriously.

I'm upset that I didn't see the Abaete and Alice + Olivia for Payless, maybe if I go downtown or to the metrotown Payless. I need to get these studded boots!

So this is my attempt at making similar tee's, inspired by childhoodflames. So at first i made tiny holes with a pin and then pulled slowly to stretch the run. But I got lazy and decided to take a pair of scissors to the shirt. Which resulted in huge, gaping holes which I then sewed back together to make the same effect except with thread and not the actual t shirt. I kind of like the way the sewed together parts look and I'm thinking cutting the other streaks and sewing them back together to get a greater effect. The ones on the sleeeves, second pic, are the ones done by scraping the t shirt with my fingernails haha.

So ummmmmmmmm my credit card has been taken away. My parents didn't tell me that I owed them so much money so I thought that I was fine and went off and bought some boots and some more cardigans for the fall. Turns out they forgot to tell me that I owed them money for my beloved YSL touche eclat and Diorshow mascara (I couldn't NOT buy them at the duty free store! NO TAX!! how could you say no :P) + a billion other things I bought while in Asia... So...probably no new stuff/recent purchases for a bit. and you guys can buy more of my stuff from my store so I can pay off my debt :D.

99th! one more till 100! yayaya. Anyways went shopping again today. I got a Wilfred cardigan, this gorgeous skirt from superstore and this lovely bracelet from Old Navy. I only have pictures of the bracelet though, I forgot to take pictures of the other stuff haha.

So I'm relaly dumb and I actually wore makeup today so I wouldn't have any excuse not to take an outfit photo but then I forgot...crap! HAha. ANyways I'm going shopping tomorrow, not much though since I have poooooooooor. These are the dresses I want to wear for my grad. I'm going to remake them though since these are Marchesa and I do not have $3000 for a dress HAHA. I wanted to remake it for my birthday a few months ago but I ordered the feathers and they came so late :( so I just wore something else. I'm deciding whether I want to do the feather one or the ruffle one or just totally make something on my own. I was deciding to use the same concept and use crinoline...idk how to spell that haha well thats what spell check said, i bet it's not even the right word. Anyways I just need to buy a tue dress and then start working on it. I'm really excited. I'm planning to get some Louboutins or something if my parents are going to give me money since I'm not going to get an expensive prom dress. HAHA. I really hope I get some money for some killer shoes atleast :)

I couldn't not buy this shirt. It was way too cute to pass up. It was a bit pricey though at around $35 CND. This was bought at Mango, MNG Jeans.

These are my little oxford bootie-type shoes. They're absolutely amazing and adorable and I have yet to wear them since it's suddenly gotten hotter here in Vancouver and I'm still dressing summery :) These were a deal at only $28 CND

This is a French Connection little jacket, thing. I love it, it's so cute and I love pronounced, pretty exposed zippers <3. I forget how much this was. I bought it in Hong Kong...wait I think it was around $40 CND

These are my Chloe knock off's from a Philippine department store. Shoes are dirt cheap there. These were around $20 CND. I love them but they're a bit hard to walk in.

These I bought in Canada from Aldo. They're so comfortable and gorgeous and I can't wait to wear them more once fall rolls along. (I'm not wearing a lot of these since I'm holding on to summer and extending the wear of my sandals hehe). These boots were $140 but I have my trusty SPC card and got them for $140 flat with tax and a leather protector, hehe. It's like I didn't pay for the leather protector and tax, lolzorz.

So back to school. I've got so much going on. with worries about universities, making time for friends and trying to beat that guy who got the academic award last year plus fitting in a fashion blog....I've gotten sick. Like literally sick. So I am going on a short hiatus. I'll be creepin' around your guys' blogs to keep up with all the happenings but I'm just way to lazy and tired and uninspired at the moment to take pictures of my outfit in my fat, post-vacation body. I told myself to lose the extra weight..instead I had a bunch of pizza for dinner. It was delicious and worth every calorie! HAHA. So I'll leave you with outfits I wore polyvore style...since I forgot to take pictures.

This is what I wore to the first day of school. HAH. I'm so overdressed all the time.

Wore this on the second day of school. I OBVIOUSLY did not wear a Roberto Cavalli mini dress. This was just the shirt that had the most similar pattern haha.

This is what I wore today...essentially. My sweater dress had shorter sleeves though and wasn't as expensive as Acne. It was French Connection.

That's pretty much what you've been missing...except in uglier versions since all these are the designer stuff hehe. Be back soon when I get my little cousin to start being my little photographer again! + when I get better from this cold and figure out how to manage my busy life which I cannot handle with a blog. For all those girls that keep up your blogs under much more difficult circumstances than I have to deal with, I give you props (Y).

Btw. I'm really in love with my new brown boots from aldo <3 I need to get another pair of boots since I wear them like crazy during fall winter. Still have to take pictures of all my shoppings from asia!

So I'm back from my (almost) month vacation! I spent the past few weeks in Hong Kong, Vietnam and the Philippines. I had a great time, ate great food and most importantly...shopped until I couldn't fit it into my suitcases and box anymore :). Tons of new buys that I need to take pictures of and show you all! I'm very excited to get back to my more normal, atleast once a day, posting.

I also wanted to let you know that I've started making some simple, wooden necklaces. I have a few cousins/family friends that introduced me to the art of ethnic filipino wooden jewelry and decided to sell some of the necklaces I've made. If any of you are interested I would be more than glad to show you more pictures or answer any questions you have. I am planning to sell these on Etsy as well. My plan is to advertise here on my blog and try to spread the news about my necklaces. If there are some people who are interested in buying then I will set up my shop on etsy. So it's been freakin' hot here in the Philippines so all I've packed/brought were summer things like shorts and basics. And since it's extremely humid...light and flowy dresses because a hot mess sticking to my body when I'm outside. These are just a few outfits that I've been wearing since I feel like I should update but they're not much. I'm just adding them to show you my vacation also :)

1st- On alona beach, wearing a green boob-tube dress from Thailand last year and a La Vie En Rose straw hat.
2nd - Coming from dinner with my cousin. Wearing a black offshoulder top from Hong Kong and Teal/Green TNA shorts and havaianas...as always haha.
3rd - With little Tarsier monkeys! I'm in love, srsly. They're the cutest little things in the world :)
4th - Wearing a cardigan from the philippines, blue and white corset looking blouse from Urban Behaviour and light wash sort of destroyed denim shorts from american eagle but you can't see.

These are my outfits for the past few days. I just wore a pink summer dress with a black cardigan today so nothing too picture worthy. Plus I added some tourist-y pictures haha

Hello blog readers, thank you for reading my blog and giving me such nice comments. Anyways I have my summer school final tomorrow and then I will be DONE DONE DONE! I am beyond estatic. Then I will be off to asia with my family for about a month.

Anyways I was thinking of getting this skirt from American Apparel since I wear my James Perse one to death! And I needed one to replace/use instead of that one all the time. I'm kind of iffy getting something right before I leave especially since I know I will be doing tons of shopping there. I'm also not going to enjoy the fact that so many asians are sooooo tiny and I am...not. A lot of the bargain shopping is usually one size fits all and my boobs and I are not part of this "all". I think I might just save my money on key fall pieces if I don't find a lot of great things in the little markets.

This is my James Perse skirt and I love it to bits, its so versatile...I think I want to get another one...I tend to buy 2's and 3's of things I love haha. But it says its $120 on the site...I got mine for $64 on sale at holt renfrew..hehe I'm def going to wait for a sale again

This is why I'm so busy! Hahaha I'm trying to pack for my family vacation to Hong Kong, Vietnam and the Philippines (where I'm from) and it's taking forever. I want to take everything!Aren't these absolutely adorable! It's weird showing you all...but those are my new underwear...haha. I love them, especially the frilly ones heheI bought this book at chapters yesterday, I read the first few pages and it wasn't too bad plus it said an international best seller...if anyone has read it please give me some reviews! My day pretty much consisted of my friends danielle and abby, getting a hair cut, eating at mcdonalds, the guy dropping my ice cream and walking home followed by taking "artistic pictures" in my yard. It was a good day today <3.My outfit for the day! Haha I was lazy, we just went to the nearest mall to get haircuts. I wore my v-neck wilfred top, green american eagle shorts and white havaianas.

So this is my attempt at the floral trend AND the studded belt trend. UGH I was so bloated yesterday so my stomach looks all paunchy...yuck. Anyways this is what I wore to school except without the tights. I put the tights on when my friends and I went to a movie and then late night dinner (which totally doesn't help the paunchy stomach problem...). I saw the Happening, I was really excited because I looooove Mark Wahlberg but it was a let down. Like yeah it's more of a thinking movie instead of a gory or monster horror flick...it was more suspense...I don't even think it was horror anyways. Haha. So I guess don't see it...haha. Studying this whole weekend! Most likely no outfit posts since I won't be going out. I didn't watch the movie and I didn't watch the series but by no means do I not like the outfits in them. Anyways as many of you, I've been dreaming about Carrie's studded belt and incorporating them into my outfits in my head and then I found an old one in my aunt's closet (my source for cheap, aka free, vintage items). I'm quite excited to use it! Many have the pyramid studs but the one I found has these round ones and I think I like them. They're a little more feminine than the spiky ones but they still do the trick, but I think I might still want to go out and buy a pointier stud since I noticed that theres a few missing studs on this belt...k just one. I'll probably be too cheap and end up just re-arranging some of the studs that aren't seen very much and put it in that empty space. HAH. We'll see...

I've only read a bit since my aunt took it away so I could read it on the 10 hour plane ride when we go away this summer. My family sucks. I didn't really like Marc Jacobs' resort collection but it's just 'cause its not my style. I'm swooning over everything in Stella McCartney's collection. Plus I love where she photographed the models. My favourites woud have to be Stella McCartney, Donna Karan and Valentino. I did love all the jumpsuits from Proenza Schouler though <3 and a lot of Peter Som's pieces. Oh how I wish I could afford them all.

I really love what she's wearing. I'm a bit iffy on the shoes but I like how she can pull this off. She can do nothing wrong in my opinion! Haha.

I love this dress, I don't really like the shoes. The dress would be something I'd choose to wear to my grad or something. EEP. I'm graduating this year! Meaning I get to go dress shopping...hehe.

So since my camera died and I don't know where my cousins camera is, this is what I wore to skizzool today :). Except the teal dress was a shirt-dress from H&M. Everything else I wore is almost identical. GAH. I need a new camera. So since today was my birthday I brought cupcakes to school, since I can't outgrow bringing cupcakes since like grade 2! HAH. And I got icing on my dress :(. I washed it right away so I hope it comes out. K off to eat some Japanese food...AGAIN. Hahah :)The cupcakes I baked :):):)

So I had my birthday party(ies) this weekend <3. Kamei Royale downtown which was just up from the Hyatt, since cactus club had a wait for 2 to 3 hours!!! Then had a slightly larger get together in the hotel room with a bright n tight theme. Yay sweet 17!

I'm pissing my pants in excitement. There are now 3 H&M's within about 30 minutes of my house! I haven't gone to the Pacific Centre one but I need to soon. It's supposedly the biggest one in Canada or something. WOOT. It's 12,000 Square Feet and has two levels <3. I need to go soon. The opening was today but it was at noon and there was le school, and no one was willing to skip with me. LOL. Yeah, I'd put my education on the line for a store opening...Anyways I bought a buttload of stuff last week from the lougheed one and I probably will be putting down another few hundred dollars when I get to the new H&M...especially since my birthday is really soon and I'm hoping to get lots of shopping money. Hehe. Pictures of my new purchases will be up as soon as I'm un-lazy.

So I'm waiting for the mail to come because I ordered some feathers off ebay! I'm so excited. That means I can start working on the Marchesa dress I'm trying to knock off for my birthday dinner :). Oh if I could only afford the real thing. My dress won't be quite the same since it will be a shorter, bubble dress (I bought it from Urban Behaviour for $15) and I''m just going to put the feathers on under this sheer-ish fabric which I will also turn into a bow. I'm excited. I hope it turns out pretty decent haha.

They've been around for a while and at first I thought they were hideous little things but after looking through them I've fallen madly in-love. They're gorgeous in a weird, whimsical, imaginary-world, ugly/pretty way. Many celebs are being spotted wearing the coveted bag and theres supposedly a huge waiting list for one. I could decide to save up for one once I get back to work and I could probably get it after a few months of work...I think the price tag for the smaller, white ones are around 2200 or so (something I could afford as long as I don't spend a penny for like 6 months...HAHA and beg my parents like there's no tomorrow). Okay nevermind, I can't really "afford" it in the sense I know it will only be around for fall and by next spring everyone will be stashing theirs in the back of their closets. I, at 16, with a tiny pay-check cannot afford to do that. I need to be able to buy a bag and use it for 10 years +...haha. I'm really contemplating in investing a classic black leather bag, I love the balenciaga motorcycle bags still. I don't think I'll ever get over them haha. Anyways until I get back to work, I will simply keep dreaming about these lovely purses.
