raquel allegra t's
So this is my attempt at making similar tee's, inspired by childhoodflames. So at first i made tiny holes with a pin and then pulled slowly to stretch the run. But I got lazy and decided to take a pair of scissors to the shirt. Which resulted in huge, gaping holes which I then sewed back together to make the same effect except with thread and not the actual t shirt. I kind of like the way the sewed together parts look and I'm thinking cutting the other streaks and sewing them back together to get a greater effect. The ones on the sleeeves, second pic, are the ones done by scraping the t shirt with my fingernails haha.

well done..it looks so cool :)
Awesome! I can't wait to try this out. I was thinking of doing it with a super thin cashmere blend sweater or something. Awesome blog by the way!
that is very cool treatment you gave that plain white tee! ;)

this is such hardwork, buh the turnout looks effortless. nice!!
Wow i'm actually quite impressed with your creation lol. I've meant to try the same but i get so scared with sharp implements haha.
this is such a great DIT project - ishould try and do it too :)
Haha that's awesome.Loves it and maybe gonna try it.

-choppy shades
very coo.
think I could do that with jeans?
fun! way to d.i.y!!
Oooh crazy cool tshirt!
I love this concept. I have so so so so many old white tee's [since I live in them for 3 days and then never wear them again] so I'll most def be trying this out on one of them.
[p.s. my dream job would be trying to put some bergdorf windows together or be featured in them, I'm glad I'm not the only one that dreams of dressing mannequins]
hey! love love stephen colbert & now i love your blog :)
I'm working on mine right now. And Camille has a tutorial?
*runs over
hot t-shirt. love the naughty holes in various areas.
thyen x!
Wow--that looks cool!
haha when i started mine, i also got huge holes! good thing i tested it first on my boyfriends old tee before going at one of mine. i really like the look of the ones on the sleeves! thanks for the inspiration. i've only seen it done on the bodice of the shirt.
very nice! i wish i had the patience to try this haha.
oh gosh! That is so cool.
Yeah I saw Childhood flames one too.
I think what you have done is looking great.
These days all I want to do is rip up everything I own!!
DIY projects rock.. I noticed some of the stuff you have are from the Philippines, are you pinay? :P
thanks for the comment on my blog, btw!
Hi!
I do enjoy your blog!
you are really cool :)
thanks for passing at my blog,
let´s keep in touch,
see you,
Kira
Great blog, can't believe you had the courage to begin that t-shirt. I'm terrified of the time, thinking that if I begin, it will take over my life like an old lady with her knitting.
thank you, thank you!
you totally should--it's a blast so far, but a LOT of work. sleepless nights among others (not yet for me, but that might be why the best i can get is an 87 or something on a project and the rest are all mediocre 70s. it's a lot of fun!
my motto: i'd rather do something i love, not get bored and be poor than do something i hate, be bored out of my mind, and be loaded.
p.s. everyone's doing those shirts and i am definitely going to get my hands dirty too by doing them! yours looks so cool--they look like paint splatters (in the last picture)
p.p.s. where is your profile picture taken? at some kind of museum? it's really cool!
Nice job! Im thinking about doing one too but I want my top fullll of holes so I can wear a bikini underneath. I think it will look very trashy, and therefore I will be very happy when its done!
More DIY's please!
great job on this!! i saw another blogger do this as well.. i think i might have to try it out myself
oddly enough...it still looks good after all your abuse!
Thank you for being at my blog and left such nice note.
That DIY is great, cool.
Keep in touch
xoxo

You have way more patience than I do! Lol.
It looks good! I'm making one at the moment and it's taking forever.

Excellent!
I so need to do this. I'll give up my quest for originality and take up my scissors just like ever other blogger out there, haha!
